Jan. 27

Liam loved the train. He sat in his stroller and entertained all the passengers.

Liam loved all the flashing lights and cheering.
His voice was even a little hoarse afterward!

Jan. 25 and 26
For some reason blogger wouldn't allow me to post these pictures yesterday, so they are a day later than I had planned. Hopefully it will work this time.
Jan. 25- Liam loved playing with his toys.
... He loves his Toggl. He was mid spit in this picture. He's started pursing his lips and blowing with a big mouth full of spit. It makes me laugh, so he does it more- like all day long!
... and his Monkey/ Hippo thingy. He's been really into chewing on the tag of this toy, which happens to be on the butt of this weird animal. Mike said, "brings new meaning to the term 'butt munch.'"
... and being rolled up like a burrito...
... see- doesn't his face just scream FUN!?
Jan. 26- Liam looked so cute in his soccer shirt and went to town on this other neat toy. This one has a ball inside the center tube that rolls back and forth, from end to end, and lights up along the way. This is one of his favorite toys. He tries to fit his mouth around the plastic ends...
... and chew on the handles. Aren't his eyes so big and bright?!
... and especially 'kick it' with Mommy!
BONUS!! Video from Jan. 25. It showcases Liam's new spit trick. Notice the spit dripping from his chin. Ah, isn't parenthood so glamorous!

I don't know how to use photoshop very well and I was playing around with some edge refining and feathering effects. I thought the second picture would look good feathered, but I just couldn't figure out how to do it. Ah well. He's still cute, feathered or not!

Jan. 19
I know it's been a few days, but I have enough pictures to make up for it. :) First, the photo of the day:
Liam had his 4 month check- up yesterday afternoon. He got his shots, which made him feel like poo, so the smiles have been few and far between today. Tonight, while Mike was working, he was extra cranky, so I gave him a bath. If he's sad or mad or frustrated or tired or otherwise unhappy, a bath is the quickest, most effective pick-me-up. He still looks so weary, but this was a brighter moment of the day.
Okay, bonus--> some more smiles and a video of the cutie patootie!
Another way to calm the munchkin is to let him play in the Johnny Jumper for a while. He spends more time twisting around and eating the straps and side of the seat than actually jumping, but he is catching on. He was particularly enjoying himself this time.

Liam loves playing with his daddy, and here's proof...
He likes to climb up to Daddy's neck and give him big sloppy kisses. (Refer to previous post about sucking on EVERYTHING) He would then giggle and bury his face in Mike's chest. He would coo and sing also. This kid is so cute!

Jan. 14
Yes, I realize it is now the 15th, but I really did take these pictures last night and wanted to post them.
I was getting the boy in his jammies. Notice the red dot on his upper lip- I'm pretty sure I gave him the nasty yucky painful virus known as cold sores. The red dots on his chin are from puking and being wiped clean.

Today's photo was just taken- 10:15 pm. Liam is usually in bed at this time, but I had Mutual tonight. His sleep routine gets all messed up when I have something at night. I just remembered my photo a day idea, so I snapped this one of the tired-eyed baby boy.

Some recent pictures
I think I'm going to start posting a "Liam photo of the day" or at least a "Liam photo of the week." I think it would be interesting to see how he changes daily. It would also appeal to the grandparents, so...
I will start that tomorrow, since I didn't take a picture of the cute bug today. In the meantime, here are some recent ones.
Liam experienced snow for the first time on Dec. 29th. Portland got about 2 inches!
He is always finding new and interesting ways to suck his fingers. He also loves to suck on his sock monkey's hair, his Mommy and Daddy's fingers, his Mommy's neck and chin, and anything else he can get his mouth around.
I thought this was pretty cute.
He even cries sometimes, too. I think he's saying, "Mom, I swear I'm hungry. I gotta eat every 30 minutes if I have any chance of keeping my kankles."
