Liam pretty much builds one thing with his blocks... a temple. And recently he started saying, "Jesus, in-ehr" meaning "Jesus, in there." I do not know where he picked this up, or if he just knows, but it makes me so proud! He is a very spiritual little boy- loves to say pehrs and read skipters. He LOVES nursery and will often bring me churchy pictures that he's colored. We proudly display them on the fridge and he will tell me about them each time he sees them again.

Oregon Coast 2011
We went to the Coast for, what has become, our annual weekend getaway. We went to the cheese factory and had our fair share of cheese samples.
We took some cute pictures in the cheese van and had some ice cream.
Liam learned the art of "dipping" and he can't get enough of it. (Break off small pieces of waffle bowl and dip it into your ice cream- That's it!) He has asked for Dip-een just about every day since we got back. I didn't actually get pictures of the ice cream consumption because I was too busy feeding my face, but we all enjoyed it very much. Liam kept running under this table and "hiding." He'd hide his face and say, "Nee-mum... are you?" That means, "Liam, where are you?"
Next, we set up camp and had a run-in with the something that caused Liam's face and hands to break out in red hives and his lips to swell. He was drooly and needed some benadryl. We had to go back to Tillamook to get some medicine.
He was pretty much back to his silly self again within 20 minutes or so of getting medicine.
We drove back near where we were camping, Cape Meares lighthouse. We realized too late that the lid wasn't on the medicine tightly and it dripped all over the stuff in the diaper bag. That meant that it was all over the camera. We cleaned it off as much as possible, but it kind of had a hard time focusing afterward. So, these next pictures are a little blurry.
The next day we got up and met family at the cheese factory again, had some more cheese samples (and ice cream samples) and then carried on to the beach. Liam didn't have a nap all day, so he spent much of his time on the beach like this.
When he was playing, though, he was either covering his daddy with sand...
or belly flopping into the sand to take a big mouthful. He seriously did this 5 or 6 times, taking a big bite every time. I changed sandy diapers for 3 days!
We had a fun time and look forward to the next beach adventure!
